Using other drugs whilst taking methadone can be very risky. Alcohol can be particularly dangerous to mix with methadone (and all other drugs too!) as both are depressant drugs and could lead to you becoming ill, and in some cases even lead to accidental death.
Both subutex and naltrexone usually come as a tablet. They would be prescribed by a doctor or qualified drug worker. Sometimes these tablets need to be taken under supervision of a pharmacist.

Naltrexone blocks the effects of heroin, so even if a person uses heroin on top of naltrexone, it won’t have the effects that a user wants.
